Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. About this service

ScanalytIQ is operated by Lothringer Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House registration number: 07450804). Contact: contact@lothringer.co.uk. The service involves Lothringer running an AI-powered website analysis tool on a client's publicly accessible website and delivering the results in the form of a structured report (PDF). There is no self-serve software product currently available to the public.

2. What you're purchasing

Clients purchase a professional audit service. The deliverable is a written report. The analysis is performed by Lothringer using proprietary tooling. The specific tools, methods, or AI systems used are not disclosed and remain the intellectual property of Lothringer.

3. Scope of analysis

Analysis is performed on publicly accessible web pages only. No access to CMS, hosting, analytics accounts, or private areas of the website is requested or required. The report reflects the state of the site at the time of analysis.

4. Delivery

Reports are typically delivered within 2 business days of receiving full payment and the client's URL and brief. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Payment

Payment is due in advance of the audit being conducted. All prices are listed in GBP and exclude VAT. VAT will be added at the applicable UK rate where required. VAT registration number: 321 0443 61.

6. Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of the service, refunds are not offered once analysis has commenced. If a report cannot be delivered (for example, because the submitted URL is inaccessible), a full refund will be issued.

If you are a consumer and you expressly request that the service commences within the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost upon commencement, you will not be entitled to a refund once analysis has begun (Regulation 36, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

7. Use of the report

The delivered report is licensed for use by the purchasing organisation only. It may not be resold, redistributed, or published without written permission from Lothringer.

8. Limitation of liability

The report contains observations and recommendations based on a point-in-time analysis. Lothringer is not liable for any commercial outcomes resulting from acting on or not acting on the report's recommendations. The report does not constitute legal, financial, or regulatory advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Intellectual property

All tooling, prompts, persona frameworks, and methodologies used to produce the report are the intellectual property of Lothringer and are not disclosed as part of the service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
